I'm doing a move in the waves lately. I think it might be a floater. but i'm not sure.

I'm riding a section and it closes out. So I bust up onto the white wash, flip the board 90 degrees to the white wash then grind along it for a while then blast off with a grin on my face.

Its a basic move. But its a lot of fun.

hey plummet- a floater is when you ride a breaking wave on top of the lip instead of on the face. it feels as though you are floating above the wave.

sounds more like you are doing a 50/50 on the whitewash.

my board would be 90 degrees to the board pictured. sliding sorta like a rail grind.

yes usually on closing out white wash. not the lip pictured.
