Sharks are found in the ocean. Usually where the water is. Once your off the sand your in great danger.

If concerned take up GOlf.

Given that a white can travel up to 70 km in a day , there is no point to the question.

Only something like a whale carcass is a Guarantee that there defnitely will be more white (and other shark action around) as they do their job of clean up crew.

Just get in the water and have fun. If you get munched then at least you went out doing something fun....

I lived in Gero for 21 years, in 15 years of surfing never seen a shark in the water. Had more problems with seals biting your leash, dolphins pretending to be sharks in the corner of your eye, that type of thing, but no sharks

I crayfished off the Geraldton, Kalbarrie and Dongara coastlines for a few years. Now that is where you see sharks.

Mostly Bronzies and Reef Sharks, I remember working Big Bank one season and having 20 fins following the boat eating our rotten bait.

Ask any crayfisherman pretty daily occurrence having sharks follow the boats. Biggest shark I have seen was around 4m's - big Bronzie, take a leg off no problem.

Never seen a Tiger or GW on the boats. Others have.

yeah mate heaps of sharks up there...big ones.

was a crayfisherman up there myself...unfortunately I was injured at one stage and missed a whitey grab hold of a pot as it was winched up. Came right up to the surface belly up, at the surface rolled over, let go of the pot and swam off not to be seen again.

man, still gutted I missed that
