Lano is your first port of call and then Gero and then probably Port Gregory. It gets pretty windy further north than that so i9t depends upon how far you are willing to push the heat, wind and skill level.
Lano and Gero are such faves though, really little reason to go much further IMHO in summer.
The whole coast is fantastic.........thousands of kilometers of it.
Wind is just about starting to hit...KH is spot on. Expect more wind and harsher conditions as you move North. Beware of sharks, snakes, stone fish, box jelly fish, coral, sting rays, bees, and let us not foget the sun.
ps, I dont really want to reignite a new debate over sharks etc,,,but a mate of mine wants 200$ for one of those shark shields.. anyone reckon its worth it? I mean, have anyone tried one and does it hinder you or really give you that piece of mind?
Are you kidding Reli Man, our wild life is starving and always looking for an easy meal.
dublindavid: think about having a shark shield for all your 4 limbs; I recon the more of them you have dangling from your body the safer you will be....not.

I take it then you have something against the technology... care to expand?
Was up at Lano on the weekend and only seems to be a sign at the grassed area where the poleys setup in front of the sea rescue building which says no Kite surfing activities allowed on this lawn of something to that effect.
