I cannot find any reviews on it. I am considering buying the 131. bit worried about this asymetrical stuff - need to hear from a real rider!

Sink cut,

You will not be disappointed if you just go and buy one, I have been riding one for about 1 month now and have found it bloody owesome.

I have never ridden such a fast board, it has great
speed, pop, grip and trucks upwind like no other board, if your local shop is a North rep see if you can grab one for a test ride you will love it.

I am on the Gold Coast and last week-end we had Jamie Herraiz from North showing off some of the new 2007 North gear at Narrowneck, had a great ride on the new Jamie Pro and 12m Rebel brilliant combination.

Cheers,

I have been riding the 128 for about 2 months. It's a great board except for the pads. It is fantastic for edging hard and carving. I think the smoother rail on the toe side is a great idea as this is where you might "catch an edge" if it was as sharp as the heel. I would describe the flex as being quite stiff. It has great drive through the turns and grips very well both heel and toe sides. I definatly get less spray in the face as my 128 underground. I have also been riding a mates 128 crossride and would say that if you are mainly riding waves and chop then this possibly a better option. (slightly smoother). The pads are the worst I have ever used. They are toooooo small for the average guy and feel like the old massuer sandles. (easy to replace) The straps are average and not as good as last years. It's interesting to note that most of the photos of the pros with the 07 boards show them using last years straps. Any way besides the pads/sraps, I would highly recommend it.

Rode one last week the day after Mambo. Jaime was there with Adam Q and the crew doing a workshop on the lake and loaned it to me for the day. One of the best board I've ever ridden. Just loved it -- especially the heel-to-toe and toe-to-heel carves. Goes great. Pops great too. You almost feel like you're on a Mutant by the way it carves. Excellent board.

Come on JLo we all know your a NORTH PIMP but not quiet as much as me being a NAISH PIMP.

Still recovering from yesterdays downwinder, woke up this morning and felt like I was run over ten times by a truck.

Big southerly forecast for Saturday , you know what that means flat water and waves , cant wait.

well , I got a Large one and used it for two full days of NE on south coast. I usually ride underground so the follwing opinions are in comparison to that:

- The Jaime goes super fast. It is exclent for holding together really fast powered landings and i seemed to come out of landings moving a lot faster than usual.

-I have to say it took some time getting used to carving, it seems to go better the faster you go. I still prefer the 2006 underground for carving on waves.

- It has great pop .After riding the underground the jaime felt like i was wearing springs under my feet.

- It kicks. If you are not careful in the chop or crossing little waves it will kick you off quick smart. That little corner on the front heel side catches very easily. Just need a bit extra on the back foot to avoid this.

- I thought the foot pads and straps were great. I have size 12 feet and very quickly set up and adjusted them to the right size. I did not find them too small. The pads are bit harder than the underground ones. I did not like that at first, but after a while i loved the extra control it gives you.

Overall i recon in smooth flat water you can't beat the Jaime, but if you want a relaxed ride or you want to load your edge in the chop then maybe the underground is better.

but thats all just my amature opinion...
