i'm hoping there are some kiters in the hobart area that can help me learn to kite. i have done the reading on the theory side of things but cant find anyone that does lesons down here and would prefere to have someone that has some sort of idea of what their doing to help me instead of just throwing up the kite by myself and ending up . i live down at carlton beach and saw 2 of you down there last weekend that put me on to this site so thanks to who ever you were i am willing to travel (a resonable distance) if i need to if someone can help

The person you should contact is Andy Sharman from Xsport in Hobart on 0428 500 041. As far as I know he is the only qualified instructor in Hobart.

Ian.

Hopefully Andy will be able to help you out down in Ho Ho, he's taught a bunch of really good riders.
If you'd like to hook up with a bunch of kiters, send me an email and i'll keep you posted on the next chilled out weekend kiter getaway for newbies and pro's alike.
Next stop looks like it might be another Stanley/Marrawah trip.
