Hi ox, I managed to get still frames to work in Premiere Pro 1.5 by using the razor tool to cut the frame I wanted, then increasing the time/duration to however long you want to show it. There might be better ways, I'm pretty new to the whole editing thing. You did the Geraldton Nationals vid didn't you? It was sweet...

no it was budget. Ive worked harder on a new gravity games vid that should be complete in 2 weeks though, if i can sort this problem out! It doesnt look too bad, its only a minor flicker, mainly on thin lines, perhaps too many pixels in a small area with different colours? Ill suss the razor tool out, but they are high quality digital stills, not frame grabs off video. Thanks!

Hey guys,
If you switch to Pinnacle Studio, you will not have any problems!!!
It just works, although very slow when it comes to creating DVDs

try converting the source pics to the final display resolution before editing/sequencing/encoding. (sounds like it might be encoder artifacting)
