Hi,
Hua Hin is where the King of Thailand has got his summer residence. Should be nice. I drove past it to go to Chumphon where there is a nice kitesurf spot
and even a school. Chumphon is a remote quiet beach. Hua Hin has got more to do I reckon. Theres nothing much going on in chumphon. Still I liked it.
Typically it should be windy this time of year.
Cheers,
Eric

Nice spot but 'Off chance of a kite" would probably be the correct statement.
Generally 50/50 for off/on shore winds in September.
If you're taking a kite along, take a big one!
