I was there (east beach) all by myself from 9-11.30 am. Pro's have weird sence of humour or maybe i am just too stupid to understand the joke.

Beach 1,2 or 3? East beach wtf? Beach 2&3 is the one that is out of access, Beach 1 is still open I think. But who wants to go there when theres better spots like a certain lake I know or the pond in Safety Bay if your prepared for a bit of a drive.

Yeah - That is very true...... Once the weather heats up a bit, I'd keep your eyes wide open for snakes. Just about all the lakes around Perth are thick with tiger snakes, and in summer they can get pretty fiery!

Looks like the closing of the road has worked! I kited there yesterday afternoon from 15.00 to 17.00 in 17 - 25knots (it was bit up and down with the showers) with only one other guy??? Spacemonkey is almost right all the beaches are closed to car access, you now have to park at the Cockburn cement pump station and walk up to the point. At least the lake has good access
