After surfing in the metro area for 20 years and many down south trips 2seasons ago i finally grew a brain and bought one of these saltwater teabags..... Not only do I love the sport/hobby/addiction but everyone was helpful and mellow... unlike most testosterone fuelled alpha male types fighting over 2 foot junk....
The thing is beaches are gettin crowded....
for all newbies..check the WKSA for boating/kiting rules...

As beaches get more crowded, setting up by blowing your kite up first is showing courtesy for other beach users. If leaving your kite rigged for long periods of time, put your lines to the side of the beach or better wind them in to the kite... they wont tangle...If we all keep the beaches relatively clear everyones happy
I dont mean to be a rules nazi but Ive noticed some pissed off people recently some justified some not, keep it cruisy..
