hey guys myself and a couple of other gero guys (namely nathen NJPORNSTAR) are just finishing off a kicker 5000*1800*1000 (l*h*w). we were just about to lay 50ml pvc pipe when a bloke reckons its too brittle (sun) and said 50ml poly would be safer and better for that little bit of flex. anyone out there done it before.

i can get unlimited pvc for free, but have to pay for poly and pvc pressure pipe. what works safely??? cheers.

if you have the money i would go plastic sheeting, im pretty sure its the same material as kitchen chopping boards but dont know the exact name. It makes a huge difference in the air time etc. you get off the kicker, wayyy better than pipes. I think it cost about $200-300 for the amount you need.

If you have endless supply of PVC just use that. Change it if it breaks. Just unlucky for the one who breaks it.

ask a couple of the local plumbers they might have some left overs from jobs. if they dont I am sure for a carton they would probably accidently over order on there next job for ya, its amazing how far the old liquid money goes.

im not sure of dimensions, but orange tuff will shatter straight away, but the yellow thicker pipe works a treat, as does the black pipe with the blue stripes, although thats allot thicker, better for sliders than kickers

Percle satana.
i wonted to build a kicker and slider in gero before i left and now i leave, people are doing stuff, hehe dont brake it before i get back woot woot, well pvc is on the out side of houses like all year and it seems to be ok yeh polly carbonate is thicker but i think PVC would be good enough some pople might just think its brittle because it is thin, alot of the Competition rails i have seen are plywood with a fibreglkass laminate, see how it goes and say hi to N8 when ya see him.
