hey guys!

im travelling down the coast from cairns to sydney for the next 3 month now! initially i wanted to buy a car but i was quite desillusioned about the price levels, and because im travelling on my own i guess i'll have to start with the greyhound.
but anyways, i got my kite equipment with me and would like to know if anyone would like to join me for travelling in general or just for one session... i just have no idea of the best spots, have heard that alva beach should be nice!
so if anyone would like to spent some cool time kiting and partying just let me know!
lifts to any spots would be awesome as well!!

pace, ruby

You have chosen a good time of year to do that trip.
There are lots of good spots heading south of Cairns.
Look for cash in hand work
Second hand Cars are expensive in Oz. Look small and old with just enough rego in Queensland.
Camping can be cheap. National Parks are almost free and often very beautiful

^^^I agree, it will be a struggle not having a car all the best spots on that route involve either a car or a lot of walking. Alva beach for example would be a couple hours walk from Ayr with no gear let alone with kites and board, see if you can hook up with some likeminded backpackers, I actualy cant think of any kite spots on that route that have easy public transport.
