Has anyone had a bow perform involuntary kite loops?
The girlie went for an impressive drag on her Turbo Diesel the other day. After a stack it re-launched by itself with the help of a gust, and then performed a series of powered up kite loops.
Her safety exploded under the force of these loops but the kite retained full power and the little girlie was dragged by the leash until a friend made the scene (big thank you to Tone!....our first born shall be your namesake) and caught her kite on one of it’s brief water visits between re-launching and looping again.
The save was made less than 30 meters from boats, from which she was initially at least 150 meters clear of and the girlie was a shaken heart in mouth moment away from dumping her kite onto them
Best as we can figure is that as the kite re-launched either one of the bridles snagged on the wing tip,

or the back line wrapped around the bar.
