hawaii, u have got to be joking, i have sailed in the matilda bay and melville water areas of the swan river at least 2-3 times a week for around 9 years(summer anyway, bit less in winter, currently sailing five days a week)+ kiting, and have sufferd a huge amount of cuts, gashes and other weird blood wounds and have NOT ONCE got an infection from the water, or even felt sick from accidently drinking it (you would be surprised how much gets in your mouth skiff sailing) so i have no idea what you are complaining about.

the only side effect of kiting in the swan river is if you have a white kite it may turn slightly yellow over time

cheers Leo

good points raised - video is now gone though...
+I just prefer the sea nice and clean lots of swells to boost off much more fun

the river is ace! especially when you live 10 minutes from Melville the Jellyfish are harmless and the water is balmy.
