does anyone know any kitesurfing lakes or anything, it is near moe.

Try the hazelwood pondage, its the cooling water res for the power stations, suposed to be warm but hills wood fickle-ise the wind.
Just drive south to Sandy point.
I'm doing a day course for a couple of students there next weekend.
