check airport for wind direction via Bom website or weatherzone, past 24hours then head to appropriate beach which can be:

Buffalo Creek (which is still part of Lee Point), good for SE through to NE but we tend to head to Lee Point when NE, best on a E to ESE. Drive down to lee point, turn right towards buff creek and stop at sharp corner in road at carpark.

Lee Point best on a NE to N especially on a high tide as current goes upwind (watch out for rocks though).

Casuarina Beach (surfclub) good for N to SW but unlikely to westerlies this time of year.

Rapic Creek is best on a NW to W but many rocks and dangerous but unlikely this time of year, better for monsoon wet season.
