Anyone been???

Looking for holiday ideas. The only place I've seen is Safari Lodge. Anyone been. What about the islands off Nadi and the Mainland.

Any input greatly appreciated.

Hi ascole i just searched the forum and there is heaps of info on it and alot of crap about sarfari lodge. I think you should do a search instead of bringing up another lot of crap about safari lodge.

Tavewa and surrounding islands in the Yasawas in Fiji is a superb spot with excellent diving as well.

Best ting is the three islands directly opposite one another in a triangle so kiting oppportunities are excellent.

My memory is that the wind is not too bad either

We went to Fiji last year and stayed at the Morrison's which is right next door to Safari lodge. Nice place, good wind if you time it right, but a bit much coral.

A group of us are planning a semi organised trip to Rarotonga (Cook Islands) this year in the first week of August (5th - 13th) - check out the post on this forum for details. If you are keen to join us, you are more than welcome!

I've just come off a 2 wk kite surfing holiday at Safari Lodge.

Went for one week... loved it so much I extended it another week.

Go ahead and read crap about Safari, but like someone else said.. check it out for yourself to see how awesome it is.

Great, new place - laid back atmosphere and a ton of stuff to do even on low wind days... kayaking, hiking, wind surfing, he'll take you wake boarding, water skiing, snorkeling to the outer reefs.

The only way you'll have a bad time is if you bring a bitchy wife or girlfriend who gets bored because she's not the adventurous type. Or, if you're a hot headed kiter who's also a cheap skate. lol.

I wouldn't have extended my trip by 10 days if I wasn't loving it!

Feel free to email me directly for more details :)
