hi everyone

I have just moved to Perth and would like to know where some good spots are? I am living near clarkson in the northern sub's. I am still a learner really can get on board but still working on tracking upwind so any suitable spots to go would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance :)

When you can tack upwind definately go to Woodman's point. I can help you out.

A great spot close to you is Pinnaroo Point just north of Hillarys. Look at this link and scroll down for a map. If there is wind there will be plenty of people there to help you land and launch and, as its the ocean, there's plenty of room for all. For a case of beer, Darren at the kite school will happily rescue you in his tinnie if you need it!

Cheers.

Hey Tom,

He lives in Clarkson. Thats an hours drive to Woodies.

Yo Crispy, drop in to Pinnaroo Point, it's the beach where everyone in the north rides, especially the beginners. I run the school there, and we do rescue hapless noobs ....... for a case! Ha! No really, there are only two northern beaches worth riding unless you go way up north. Mullaloo is good too and a pretty decent crew down there but you have small surf to deal with as at Pinnas it's just chop.

We'll be back down the beach as of 1st October (officially) maybe a bit earlier depending on wind. There is always someone there when there is wind. Not long to wait for summer.

Good winds,
