kiting canberra/south coast

Hey just moved to canberra from the central coast and did some kiting on the coast. Just wanting to get into it on the south oast and any spots in canberra... any kite buddies?

just to let you know I am pretty beginner

yeah - bad luck about the move. Canberra has a lake but kiting there is pretty pointless.
I'd suggest heading down to Merimbula, Batemans Bay & Jervis Bay. There are plenty of good spots in between too.

Some people do kite on the lake at times. Personally, I think it's a waste of time. The wind is always very gusty.

Head to the coast. Closest spots are around Batemans Bay. In a NE, have a look at Broulee. Southerly's try the Bay itself or Tomakin.

If you're heading down this weekend you should find people kiting in the are.
