How is the winds at this time of the year?
How far are the beaches from the city and what conditions do you get? waves? flatwater??

Looking for a reason to visit down south!

I too am new to Kiteboarding and after getting a secondhand kite and board for Chrissy are now in the process of learning the winds and conditions as well as how to get up on the board.

I have noticed though that no one (or very few)have been out the last few days where the wind has been a healthy 12-18 knots from the east / north east? While this wind in Adelaide is a direct offshore and flattens the sea right off is there any particular reason why no one seems to be out??

On that then what is the prefered wind for Adelaide kiers and whatommendateed and irection for a beginner with an 11M GTO.?

Most people in Adelaide go out in SW and NW (side onshore) stay away from easterly s as there offshore and very fluky.
Which means, you normally have problems getting back to shore, and very soon get on first name basis with the coast guard :)

If its SE then people head down to victor harbor (kent reserve)
