i am going to this place for 3 days can i kite anywhere??

Umm, well, you can TRY.

Lake BG is legal (and shallow) just south of the DoD in Campbell, but I'm told its gusty at the best of times. Also LBG is full of BGA(*). They dont recommend swimming in it. I'd save given the amount of water that goes up my beak when I crash expect to get menegitis.

Same prob just about everywhere else. Lake George might work when its got more than 12in of water - but thats rare. The Dams would be risky as its fresh water (less bouyancy) & deep, and again it will be gusty.

You'd have to be pretty cocky to fly in the ACT.

i thought this topic was a clever play on words, where someone was telling a devious story.
ie kite in the act vs caught in the act.

If you're really desperate for kiting just drive down to Bateman's Bay along with everyone else on Canberra on the weekend :)
