You is getting bored Lachy?

The length of you posts seems to be diminishing, and the quality of your sarcasm has lost its edge.

Have a great Christmas and a smashed new year. Hope you get plenty of wind.

Merry Christmas to you too Dave .in all seriousness the rips in the area can be pretty full on and if kiting alone DON"T STUFF UP ,most beaches are unpatrolled even at this time of year

three beaches in pacific palms, blueys, boomerang and Elizabeth's.. ALL PATROLLED.. then you have 7 mile beach north of PP (unpatrolled) and opposite that you have wallis lake.. all these spots are kite worthy cept maybe Elizabeth's..don't bother going to smiths lakes as it has been drained but sandbar beach will offer awesome waves.. then you can always head south to seal rocks and i could go on for hours about this place.. i would suggest google earth for wind directions. but yes there is somewhere in every wind direction.. even westerlies..I don't think mr float has ever been out of adamstown

me thinks I have been out of adamstown In the years i have been kiting I do like to get out a bit futher than adamstown
Oh i am so sorry that I wasn't as specific as the oh so funny milkmaid .yes some of the beaches are patrolled but most in the area that are good for kiting AREN'T .plus the patrolled beaches can pretty sktchy and can go offshore in a NE,blueys/boomerang (usually the predominant summer wind ) Elizabeths is diectly onshore in a NE with lots of people spread along the beach and probably not the ideal place when considering others .I have found that the riding is generally better along the lakes way stretch at booti booti from Tiona north (I spend a week here most summers and had my ute stolen and torched with all my kites except the one I was riding so watch out for theiving bastards along that stretch) The drive up to tuncurry can be well worth it too .We have had sketchy days down around pacific palms (when I ventured out of ADAMSTOWN) and its been epic at Tuncurry
