Hey guys. With summer around the corner I can't wate to hit the water agen, but with doing down the wake/freestyle direction I'm not sure how well my knees and shoulders will hold up to the beating I'm going to give my body. Any one have any good suggestions of any exercises I could do to give my joints some protection?
Cheers

Shoulders - Tons of rotator cuff exercises and make sure to keep your chest nice and stretched out

Knees - harder but try one legged leg press (slowly and not with a lot of weight) or pistol squats if you don't have a gym.

Make sure you stretch before EVERY session even if you're trying to get on the water quickly. That's how you ruin your body. And don't force tricks... I used to do that. Get your pop and drop down and there shouldn't be a ton of torque on your shoulders.

Pullups and pistol squats should do you good.

If you can find a set of rings for the pull ups, you should be able to strengthen the whole shoulder area in one exercise. Simples!
