a couple of years ago I sailed at lake clearwater and loved it.

thinking of going back and can get a lodge but need to share costs.

Has anyone been there recently?
does anyone want to hook up for a trip There?

Has anyone kited there?

Azza,
with fiji trip in August, and another Sandy Point week in November,
and also late Feb 06. perhaps Jan 06 would be a good time. if wind is ok at that time.
the Clearwater classic seems to clash but I don't know anything about it anyway. Can someone enlighten me.

Don't know if you are still interested but you should look at lake coleridge - is about 1hr south (about 20ks over land) of clearwater and has much smoother better wind. you can camp ryton bay which is where the main kiting area is. The water is COLDER than clearwater

thanks
sounds like worth a visit.

lake clearwater was great for wind so smoother better must be good.
The lodges I have access to at lake clearwater maybe better for comfort.

if the water is colder it must be ice?
