Is there a wind report web site out there that can do a calculated guess of what the wind is goning to do in say 1-2 months . Not that i want it or will think it is going to be correct but could give a sign that the wind is going to come back . surly there could be something close .
Many thanks in advance

Would be good wouldn't it.

People sometimes email asking for this because their wedding is 2 months away, and they want to know if it will rain.

Getting 7 days out accurate is currently a challenge as weather systems are so complex.

Plus, to make an accurate forecast, you need to kick off with an accurate 'current state' of the weather. Otherwise .. garbage in .. garbage out.

There are a heap of weather balloons, land and sea based measuring stations, but given the scale of weather (horizontally & vertically), these stations are still a pretty course measurement of things...

They can predict the weather with 100% accuracy 1 hour ahead, but it takes 3 hours to sort through the data.

Try something like www.bom.gov.au/climate/averages/tables/cw_009114.shtml

Will give you an idea what the weather is normally doing by month.

My answer isn't near 100% either, but I usually go to windguru.com, select the spot and hit the archive. There you will find the conditions for the spot for as many years back as the spot has been registered. Gives you an idea of what to expect. Hope this helps (guess you´ll find out)
