Anything more than 4 days is not reliable. Don't torture yourself. Hope you are blessed with great winds though.

This is a JIC (just in case) U have not used this....

I use SB to get a trend and this for localised variations ..
but not longer range..

www.bom.gov.au/marine/wind.shtml

That DI wish - NW + W/E + ok tide - modest really..

Hope U will have fun.. it is that sort of place.

Cheers

Favourite weatherman response: "If it doesn't rain, it'll be fine".

Order for wind has been placed for you, but just a heads up that there is a backlog at the moment.

My understanding of weather computer models is that SB, windguru, windfinder, etc, etc all use GFS (global forecast service) which is a USA satellite system. BOM have their own which is the reason why BOM marine varies to GFS.

You can find GFS initiated forecasts for up to 2 weeks in advance but remember a dynamic system such as weather is a bloody hard call.

The forecasts for up to 36 hours have been very accurate for quite a while.

I'm not even watching the forecast. We're leaving early Friday morning and going kiting for 3 days
