He told me about BRIGHTON, he usually kite there. next sunday I hope to go there, and I hope to know the kitesurfers. I`m in Brisbane, Springhill, and I don`t know any kitesurfer yet. blokes wearing a paris hilton fragrance.....ok then Wello is 'great' but if your used to smooth white sand, no rocks and clear water, then you would only kite there if you were desperate and no were else was kiteable
Only fly the slingy machine caus that way when u dump it several times you wont be able to tell the difference between the mud and the kite colour........LoL but true
I'll venture to the goldy asap - I can pretty much stay upwind, but once I can get some consistant wind and some more time out on the water at Wello - Once I can sucessfully do a jump, I'll head up there
Liz thats the standard we are all up to as well, you shall fit right in, Psylor once popped off the water on a so called jump but peer group pressure made sure none of that stupid stuff happens again.
We are a safe and couteous group not looking to push the envelope of development. We have a perfect safety record (except for the few fatalities)on the goldie, we never fly the kite on the sand, we never interfere with other kiters lines or kites , we take extra care when we launch other people kites, we never drink after a big session.....

ah pauly dont forget about the jetskiier you killed when you landed on him (sorry to bring this up.....paulio has to go to therapy over it) i know its an accident when you do those double rolls just like when my chicken loop falls out and im unhooked, the sudden burst of power sends me into a spin i never mean it to happen, sometimes i even pass the handle bar cuz i get scared. im sorry i let the group down. My kite just lifts me up, i cant help it. God will forgive us though, cuz we always go to church and pray before we kite.
ps... my rear veiw mirrors just arrived. Im goin to be the envy of every kiter this summer. Harley style rear view mirrors hanging off the side of my bar i'll be cruising in style with this pimped out ride
It's terrible - I must tell you all, don't go to wello - the tide, the water, it's horrible! Stay away and beware ... lol
