The way i lost it is a real bumber. Must have body dragged right passed it. All to for the entertainment of a kite school. My first request of "can you see my board' was responded with "you will have to walk up 50 m'. They then watched me drag right passed it and gave me no more attention. After that i just lost site of it.

A special thanks to the boys of the kite school on the broadwater southport. Especially for the way you helped me out. I understand the 2 min it would have taken to rescue my board with your boat would have been costly and after all you are professionals in a serious activity. Sure you had no kites up yet but still, i guess someone of your high bearing in life would not deem to lower yourselves to help someone in trouble. What a pity Gene or another of the old crew did not still run the school. I would still have my new board[V.

I would like to thank the jet skier that helped and the windsurfers that kept an eye out. Also Peter for lending me his mutant to keep me going. Guess i had better get a leash and put my name on the next board

Still it was good day day
You know hour hooked when you loose a new board, borrow a replacement and still have a screamer of afternoon

A mate lost a brand new Underground FLX 142- (the red and yellow colour one) went missing in the Broadwater last week. He was body dragging trying to find it and after a few minutes finally spotted it and proceeded to body drag his way towards the board. Then the water police drove by. You could clearly see him waving his arms in distress at the water police, did they stop....no.
The water police speed up and drove right on past, the driver would have to have been blindfolded not to see him. They drove between my mate and were the board was in the water, they may have even driven right over the top of the board... After this he had lost sight of the board again and was being taken towards the seaway as it was an outgoing tide. 5 minutes pass and he's still looking....
2 other boats drive passed and blatently ignore his waving for help, until finally a third boat stops, and soon this after three jetskiiers stop and they all try to search for the board, but have no luck finding it. I was absolutely shocked and dissappointed in the water police. For he would still have the board if they had stopped.
Thanks to the boat and the 3 jetskiiers for trying to help, who knows where the board got to, but if you find it please call 0422087760 so i can pass on the message to him, i'm sure he will have a nice reward.

It sort of feels worse when it comes from one of your own but.
Guess there a lot of stories out there like that, tell your mate i know how he feels. I ordered a reel from kite power today. I do not really like wearing one it means i gotta keep the helmet on but what else can you do.

Down with selfish self important looser mega heads the world can do without them!!
