Lucky Bay = Gusty Bay
Great place to learn because the water is not too deep and you get blown on to land in SW and S winds. If you mess up and get greedy you can end up at the Narrows Bridge. Do not fly there in Westerlies...go to Attadale.
Local Etiquette: "CLEAR"> Conditions, Location, Equipment, Attitude, Respect" I think that's them.
1. Launch and land in water.
2. Do turns 50 meters off shore. There is a white bouy to guide you.
3. Do not fly kite over the road or path when doing the ugly walk.
4. Ask people to help launch if they are there.
Everyone helps each other out, and if you spot unsafe behaviour.....intervene.
