i was in melb today, drove from st.kilda to frankston. whats up down there? I saw about 6 wind surfers in my trip having a great time in what looked like good conditions, smooth water and moderate winds. The only 2 kites i saw were trainers on st. kilda beach.St. kilda looked good, smooth water and enough cross shore wind for a goood time. If I was back home i'd expect to see kites all over. Is it just the cold water or are you guys just softies?

Wind was SE. Gusty so most people probably at Altona. About 15 guys out kiting at Altona today, 10-15 knots most of the day.

good to heasr that you guys were out enjoying it somewhere. i thought everyone must have retired for winter

i was down at altona for most of the day but i did see one person out down here the mouth of the yarra as i was coming back from altona
