There are many great locations in the area and unfortunately for you the Smiths Lake sandbar loaction is low on water (Lake drained to the ocean) so it is at present a bit difficult to kite but nice to take a walk on and the ocean side of the sandbar will give various opportunities to kite but just watch out for the currents and deep water.
