just spent the last three days kiting a spot with side cross shore breeze, it has these waves that roll for over 1km about waist height all the way to the beach. the waves are wind blown swell so they are pretty close to each other about 10 to 20 meters apart but it is clean there is little or no chop thanks to an exposed reef that protects it from the wind, the waves dont have much power so they arent surfable but with the kite to keep you powered up its an awesome experience, you can ride them for so long as long as you dont mind using the kite to keep you on the wave. as the tide changes so do the waves and when the tide is lower there are some banks that are formed and the waves are a bit more powerful.the beach is pretty clean and the water temp is shorty weather in winter.
while I was here the wind was 20-30 knots the first day pretty gusty too, but the other two days it was about 17-23 knots and much cleaner wind. the whole time I was hear I didnt see any other kites and I was the only person on the beach or in the water.
sounds perfect hey. hint its in W.A. thats about as much info as I am going to give out I am keeping this one a secret.
