I'm not for organised chaos or anything.... like i said previously im FOR a judging sheat, and since the judging sheet takes care of how to score different moves, adds structe, accountability etc... thats fine and takes care of where most of the points come from , i can't see why we can't have a judge per rider, which would elimintate the need for one person in the box at a time casue you can score two at least at a time , and at most maybe two judges per rider.... and a style judge who scores between men base on his impression.....
I didn't manage to experience any of the old school blocking
" starboard calls", "mast abeam", or any of those tactics at all or see any1 else in their heats use them during the 06 rounds.... maybe it was just a problem of the past with too small a scoring box and people not wanting to pull tricks, just wanting to play the rules to win??AKL??
If you make the box big enough you won't have the problem of getting crowded, and since you have a judge watching you all the time, you won't have the problem of missed tricks, and you don't have a bouy to sit and wait at, so you won't have to waste half or more of your heat time sitting around.
and as for felling less pressured to pull tricks under the PBS??? thats the main reaon it sucks is that you only get 2 or three runs, and no matter the conditions you HAVE to pull the tricks on each one or you won't get time to do your 5 best, and won't get your best score... i fell more pressured having to pull tricks right now nomatter what, and fell far more relaxed when kiting next to someone else who probably wont pull stuff when the gustst and lulls hit, and let you go at your own style/pace...
