Sorry but....WTF was that?!?!? What's with the Fraudulent logo thing thruout the clip? What's that awful music? And what's with the constant slow-mo and color changing?!? Sorry to say but I could only watch about 2 minutes then I felt sick and had to close my browser down
thanks 4 the feedback guys, thats my mates editing(he doesn't kite and likes his effects). i sorta had the same idea as well. anyway only just started to sort through what we've got. Final version won't end up anything like what it is at present. Anyone got any good oz music would like 2 contribute 2 nats vid?
The FRaudulent credit throughout is painful, but apart from that not too bad.
A bit FX heavy, especially at the top, but otherwise not so bad, you've obiously got some great shots, just need a bit more 'less is more' and itwill look luverly.
This video was actually made just to show a few guys that were at the comp what I caught on tape. With the thought that someone might link it to another site or cut footage from clip I put in water mark (I understand how extreme-bad it looks). I am looking for music to edit it to, if any of you are in a band or know of bands that would allow me to use their music that would be great. Undertow I actually don't like using effects but the footage was so much fun to play with I wanted to experiment a little (I realise that some of it actually looks quiet bad) The beauty of the internet is that you can say what you want and remain anonomous so you tend to be very honest. I will definately use some of these honest comments. I don't kite but it was a hell of a lot of fun to film and play with.
Wasn't writing ya off chestybonds just didn't explain my quick comments. Everyones gonna have different opinions on what they like. The fact that u don't kite means you bring a fresh perspective 2 the project which is good and u bring filmmaking expertice. But its gonna b a kite movie and kiters will have 2 like the finished product for it 2 b a success and may have different likes, so it's good 2 get feedback + and -. Effects can look cool but can make it harder 2 watch and most of ur vids i've seen have some fx(editing style) A lot of kite vids 2 date have none. Anyway we have the most footage and great quality, unique angles and some really cool stuff. This vid will b sick on completion just need 2 focus on strenghts ,keep it simple and have a good layout and music.
