would like some advice on a new kite
first off i`m a beginner with only a few hours flying under my belt
never actually got up on board.
i`m now confident at landing launching and flying the kite in the zones
i just haven`t had the right conditions to get me up with my 7.5 Airush lift and rrd directional and my 75kg frame

what is the ideal set up for beginner, am i ever going to put the 7.5m to good use

Find your local kite shop. They have the most knowledge to advise you. It is best to use equipment that can easily be repaired or parts quickly replaced. There is usually a good range of secondhand gear or last season stock at bargain prices. Don't buy from anyone who sells out of the back of his van. His interest do not include your safety or wellbeing. Buy nothing older than 2 years. Yes, you will use the 7.5 when you are more experienced.

If you're in WA contact Darren Marshall - Australian Kiteboarding School. He is a sponsor of this site, goes by the name Kitehard on here and is absolutely interested in your safety and wellbeing even though he operates out of a van.

A very impressive van from the pics I've seen!

Dont' buy from van sellers except Darren whom I know personally and hold in the highest regard. You know what I mean, the guys who pick up a bunch of kites cheap from China and flog them on the beach with no back up and then disappear.
