hey all,

so im completly new to kitesurfing and want to get into it, fair to say i know nothing about it so thought id find a forum and see what info i can get to get me started.
ive looked at a few sites faqs info and stuff like that, ive got a budget of 2000 and live in vic down on the mornington peninsula. so from what ive seen im gonna find out about schools and where you can learn to kitesurf, id like to know what would be a good starters package like board what type of kite, lines etc. im thinking second-hand would be the go as im probally gonna be fair rough with the kite and that.
where did you guys start?? was it hard to pick up?? i can skate and surf a bit so balance shouldent be to bad but have no idea about the kite and lines haha. anyways soz if im asking dumb questions. cant wait to learn though and hit the beaches any info from you guys would be sweet
