Talk with Dave, he has seen the format and how to run it while he was in the States and is interested in doing it as well.
Would be heaps of fun.
Organising it around the people who don't want to be in it will be the problem, because of the room it will take up.
We could use the channel makers that are already there, start at the point, go across to the red pole near the restaurant, then up wind to the yellow shallow water makers, then back down to the point in front of the swings at the bottom of the bay would do for a course. Just need to make a inflatable obstacle in the middle to jump over.

I have 2 x 40 foot long sliders I am willing to donate to AKSA, if we can work out some sort of contra for them.
Then you have a something to work with, that can be rented to the State Assocs as well an create some income for AKSA or the comps.

I have been looking for cheap inflatable things on ebay for a while, but nothing big enough yet.
Anything from old inflatable boats, big truck tyres.
We could also do a race around some other markers out in the bay somewhere.
But we can't get to carried away with any plans as we needs some wind.
Hey chop, squids is a bit far for you to go isn't it, I see you have WA in your profile now, have you moved, is it wishfull thinking, or just forward thinking to get a job over there so you can pursue better kiting after work
