Hands up if you hav no wind.........



Hervey Bay Waters:
Tuesday until midnight: SE/E winds 5/10 knots, increasing to 10/15 knots during the morning. Light S/SW winds early morning. Seas to 1.0 metre.
Wednesday: SE/E winds 10/15 knots. Light S/SW winds early morning. Seas to 1.0 metre. Isolated showers.
Thursday: SE/E winds 10/15 knots.
Friday: NE winds 10/15 knots.

Capricornia Waters, St Lawrence to Burnett Heads:
Tuesday until midnight: SE/E winds 5/10 knots, increasing to 10/15 knots during the morning. Afternoon seabreezes inshore. Seas rising to 1.2 metres in open waters.
Wednesday: SE/E winds 10/15 knots, increasing to 15/20 knots during the day. Seas 1.2 metres rising to 1.5 metres in open waters. Isolated showers.
Thursday: SE/E winds 10/15 knots.
Friday: E/NE winds 10/15 knots.

Fingers crossed for Wednesday!

mate maybe i will have to come up to elliott heads for anzac........ do you rekon that the 15/20 will come in or do you rekon the forcasters are playing with their doodles

Going from previous experience, I'd say it's debatable. At the moment, Windfinder says it's going to be light. I've been finding that to be a lot more accurate than the BOM forecasts for here.

Problem is we're sort of in between the Capricornia and Hervey Bay BOM forecasts. Even when the BOM readings say it's windy here, it can be vastly different at Elliott because the readings are taken at the airport (a long way from Elliott).

Fort Lauderdale Florida has balmy FNQ weather and 20kns NE with an air hose on the beach to pump your kite. Only problem is that I'm in rainy Sydney . ****e...

Does it seriously have air on the beach? Damn thats an awesome idea. I can imagine dozens of petitions flooding into council offices around the country already

Of course, one easy solution to having to request an air hose on the beach is to move over to foils...go on. Get rid of your pump...You know you want to...come fly a Venom...

Air hose is brilliant!

Best is the kite helper though.

There is ZERO wind here...going to need to burn something soon.

the only breeze on the sunny coast QLD today is 'seabreeze',luv the air pump action in Florida,only in America!
