I was there at Brighton as usual, loving the uncrowded beach.

Yep it was great to get a bit of wind swell, I just wish I had a 5.5 DOS.
It was Triggs for about two hours for me, fully lit on the 7.5 only one other out.
Nightshift now then join the pilgrimage North tomorrow arvo in time for a late session.

It was one of those sessions where you're grateful to be able to do this fantastic sport. Had a wicked time, and looking forward to more of the same today!

Had my new 7m Fuel on 20m lines.

You can imagine what the kiteloops where like.

Then took out the new RPM for demo, thanks Dave and boosting was massive on this kite.

Smiling all night

Myself and another instructor had one of our best sessions yesterday, sailed upwind to those rock islands things way upwind of Safety Bay. Stayed on the break out there for like half an hour on some very onshore but very fun waves. Boosted all the way back home again, overpowered on a 7m and 8m Rebel, extremely sore from my Chest (Waist) harnes, but so awesome.

I'm hanging out to get on my new 10m switchblade but by 5pm the wind is pretty strong and you more experienced guys are using smaller kites and saying they are overpowered. I guess I shouldn't be going out as a beginner with a 10m in these winds?

If you're in WA reebar, keep the 10m in the shed and yourself alive when the wind gets this strong if you're a beginner.

you can feel the buzz and excitment from the guys that have the small kites and the clean breeze to themselves .
Its hard to be a beginner and a one kite quiver....age tells me to stay on the beach and watch .....and out of emergency wards.

I can remember looking on enviously at guys on 9m. Today, really comfortable on the 7 + surfboard .. sweet! So stoked.

While rigging, sand was constantly streaming up the beach. Anything you put down is instantly covered and lost under a pile of freshly blown sand! Awesome!

Over 25 knots seems to clear out every single beach goer and the place is desserted ... noice!

Video of the beach

Just before I setup, filmed some of the beach & sand flying around...

Sorry, it ain't a youtube, but it is high quality .. a HD Windows Media Video file (~ 12mb) at

www.seabreeze.com.au/movies/2009-02-its-windy.asp

..pushed for time, will organise a more versatile format later...

the way it should be i was just near cott the only kiter at 4.30 and only 3 downwinders for a whole hour i love it when it is going off ,,, but my board did not survive the conditions split right up the middle had soem greta waves and excellent speed on the 9 mtr sport it can handle the gusts so well.

just saw32 that Gero had an 80 knot gust at 7 pm mmmh 9 mr might be abit big :?
for kitestock i just want some excellent wind and it is coming
