I have the 9m, it's fantastic.
It's a high aspect flat kite, great for jumping and power per m2, it has very thin tubes, responds very quickly, has a well designed bar and great build quality.

I have the 11m... love it. It's my one kite quiver for 15kts and up.
I could basically say it's awesome for everything, end of review.

To be a bit more balanced I'd say the biggest negatives I could find would be it's probably not the best for unhooking (ok but there's better kites out there), also it's more of a pivot than a sweep turner so C kite loopers wouldn't love it.

The super light bar pressure can be deceptive - when I first got this kite sometimes after launch it would feel like there's no power in the kite, then I'd pull the bar right in and dive the kite and be pulled out of the water so explosively I could only just keep the board under me. Now I love this 'feature'

another +1 on best kite ozone has ever made, although i have not yet flown the 09 EdgeRX it is very unlikely i will be changing from my Edge2. Brilliant bit of gear, take a bit of getting used to because it doesn't fly like other kites, but it is just amazing once you've got it dialed.

Best aspects:
jumping (both height and hangtime)
upwind ability
stability

Worst aspects:
ummm...... maybe not the best kite out there for unhooking, but it does the job pretty well

get one, you won't regret it

Will be a sad day when mine dies, its a bit worse for wear already after being mauled to bits by waves.

Has anyone got a new edge II 9m kite only left anywhere?

I have an 11m edge2 and love it. If you like super light bar pressure you love it.

Kp Sydney has a slightly used 11M and a new 7M as well as an 11M SportII, as new.

I'm actually preferring the 09's now, much better bar feel and smoother power delivery.
