Iv seen one of these Fruity kites at botany, and they arnt as cheap as they look. I never got to fly the kite but the guy who was riding it was not at all handicaped by it. And the boost he was doing were huge.

Don't be so quick to judge it

Pink aint the new black.......
Ultra flat kites with more uplift for their size make sense in waves. That 5m is getting the low end wind range of my 11m fuel....
Dont knock what you havent tried.....

Great so now I have to fly a kite the turns like a stunt kite even on light wind days. Goddam I wish kiteboarding companies would stop trying to make their kites turn faster.

Thank god I dont have to ride a Eh Beast in waves.......
they turn like a overlength roadtrain. each to their own.
Spacey should be on a foil in light winds.....park and ride....

No need to be so defensive, why can't they make slow kites that are meant for certain tricks and fast kites for the people in the waves etc. Instead of releasing kites that are meant for beginners to the most experienced that have huge wind range and are good in all conditions, in the end you end up with a peice of crap kite that doesn't work well for either.

Ahhh, but the 5m would get, or be very close to getting me up and running in that wind.
They have no weight specification, so I guess it can change for each size

I am left uninterested because of the spelling/grammar mistakes that are nearly everywhere. I know I don't write perfect, but a product website should be correct.
Also the referral to kiting as "surfing" isn't very enthusing.

They are cheap though, thousand bucks for a brand new 5m.

It is apparently the end product of a number of years research by that leganoiux bloke who invented the X-Bow. Seems he's going it alone.

Apparently a 5m kite has the same range as a 12m or at least that was the plan for a while.

This has been done to death on kiteforum for ages.

Good luck to him i reckon....i'll stick with my Ozone.

Never seen you in the WAVES spacey, in fact havent seen you in chop over 1 foot. Therefore this kite wont be for you.
BTW.... I think most kite companies are making a range of kites suited for different diciplines

spaceys right. kiteboarding caters for the "wow this thing can do everything" but can do nothing really well.
make a slow kite for wakestyle and "park it" waveriding. all kites as fast as a 14m would be nice.
