I'm trying to build a floating kicker and am after four drums to float it. Just wondering if anyone has any through work etc that they're willing to donate to the cause?

Try the heavy transport companies, they get detergent (truck wash) in them.

Anyways, that's where I got some from, I just asked one of the big bus companies who through a couple my way - but don't go to the office

Milk crates are easy to get. Just Igo to your local '400 variations of fast food' and look around. Plenty available

Please tell me you might be setting this up at your local nick? Couple of beers traded for a session?

That's the plan, gotta work a few things out still but as it floats it is totally mobile should be an easier mission than the slider was.

Just need some drums and a slide surface.

Hey nick I got some from a powder coating business, they were from the breaking bad acid they use to clean alloy with, and they use alot of it so they need to get rid of the drums.

Might try some places, just thought the SB community might be able to help out.

Mrs reckons the front yard looks like a salvage yard, shouldve seen her eyes roll back when I "found" a milk crate shopping yesterday.

I used to 'find' milk crates all the time.

Offer to hang hooks off them & the govt might fund the project
