any one tried it, wind range?, reliable or not??

Generally pretty good - SE trades come in and there's a great spot at the southern end of fourmile beach. 15-22 normal range. It gets a little bit less than Yorkeys, but works better when there is a little more southerly in the wind. Very destructive winds up to 280kmh forecast for tomorrow...

I was there at that time last year. Based myself in Pt Douglas - beautiful spot. Kiting at south end of four-mile beach...locals are friendly...kiting was average - lots of time spent waiting for wind - probably only 3 good sessions in a couple of weeks.
I think that the trade winds come in later up there - say August?
