Gday,

Dont depower it quite so much, keep some pressure on the bar to stabilise the canopy.

What's happening is that your letting too much air pass over the top of the kite, and this is collapsing the profile. When this happens the kite wants to fall from the sky nose first, then it recovers and wants to do it again... and again... and... it's annoying, huh?!

You'll notice some kites have cam-batterns, these are to reduce this effect when sheeting out to the limits. (I'm guessing that your kite does not have these.)

Pump the kite hard, as hard as the manufacturer says to, the above advice was assuming you had done this... after all, you did read the instructions for your new kite. (Didn't ya!)

You'll learn how much is too much quickly, just watchit around shorelines and dunes where the wind is turbulent... or it will fall nose first.

Otherwise, enjoy your new kite.

They are not meant to be fully depowered, except in certain circumstances, like wanting to drop the thing because you have a problem.

Most Bows, hybrids etc are trying to design them to drop harmlessly when the bar is all the way out.

Just maintain some pressure on the bar so it flys nice !

Also,25 knots of wind? Could be it was really sh1tty and gusty as well !
