hi mate

did a back to back comparison on my board as changed from thruster to quad set up

home job, fcs thruster to future fins quad

i did straighten up the quad fins ie parallel to outline, no toe in, rather than athruster set up where the outside fins point at the nose

personally i think quad is better suited to kiting, on back foot using rail and extra fin at the rail helps with unwind drive. quad is plenty loose but you can put a lot of pressure into the turns with no fear of sliding out

all up its quad for me

REALLY ????

Maybe a custom quad might work

I rode 2 quads from one company / production models - not naming them

worked fine in littlewaves and mod wind but in big surf and more speed were just too loose - tail sliding all over the place - yuk

I like thrusters as they work like the surfboards I ride
