Lizard Island is the go. Contact either In The Loop in Townsville or Windswell in Port Douglas as they both do tours to the Island and this time of year plenty of consistent winds.

...well, this ain't Lizard that's for sure....

accommodation, shallow lagoons, coral and fish....we can tick those boxes....
but...

the wind is a lot more fickle....
you can't kite and snorkel on the same day (cos the viz will be crap)...
sand is sort of....off white....

....but when its on, Magnetic Island isn't too bad, and the beach is at the end of the street!

yeah that's him......Glenno......so far the kite has been up in a tree, punctured LE, blown 2x panels from being slammed into water.....somehow it keeps going.

Glenn stole a sewing machine from somewhere and just sews it up himself after every tear.....legend!

(and that's my nearly 13yo son Tai on the green and gold sb3)
