hi all i was just wondering if this is a gaily or a raily i was hooked in but my board was above my head therefor a raily
me and my mate were disputing this matter

Mate, I admit not knowing heaps about tricks and technical stuff. But unless your mate is the same age throwing down way better tricks, tell him to kiss ya hairless butt and go screw himself. If he is throwing down big tricks then kiss his butt and ask for some tips....

BTW I thought it looked good. looks like a nice spot for all that tricky stuff in the air with 1000's of names ya can't remember.

Hey dude, I been to Augusta once looks like a insane place, unfortunately there was no wind. As for your question I wouldn't classify it as a railey until you unhook. I'm sure everyone that can do a railey will agree, just unhook soooo much easier for them and feels and looks a hell of a lot better. Nice pics tho...

yeh i am 14 and i can do unhooked rails gut i was out on my 14m and is was 20knots+ so yeh i have a video of me if ya wonna see it i'll put it on youtube i think they look better

must be unhooked to be a railey - no question. Nothing wrong with practising tricks hooked in though before unhooking. Like a hooked in version of an S-bend. Only stuff you can't practice hooked in are handle passes.

Was just getting into this stuff at the end of summer. No flat water stuff in winter...

Yep, a certain Mr Hadlow had one on the way to his first WC, but based on a judges decision, was forced to re-run the final becasue of it (he was only 15 at the time, oh the trauma). So he went out and busted all his moves without it. I cant remember who he was up against, but they just scooted around and watched knowing they were beaten hands down.

If you can do them unhooked...
a.) why are you doing them hooked in
b.) why are you trying to claim hooked in ones

Your only young though and lots of groms talk smack, some more than others (*Cough* Kiteboy). Unhooked raileys are such an easy trick once you commit anyone can do 'em not worth claiming, especially hooked in.
