the whole east coast of NSW has awesome waves and there all xshore in the right conditions.. the predominant wind here in summer is a north easter.. if you end up in sydney you may have to deal with crowded beaches.. the northern beaches are awsome but there is a lot of small beaches.. narrabeen and long reef are probably the best down there for kiting.. if you end up in eastern Sydney ie: Bondi, maroubra.. well i will give you $200 for your kiting gear. because you need permission to fart its that crowded..then there is southern sydney. mostly flat water down there and heaps of weirdo's..but you can visit the home of Ivan Malatt on your way to some pretty nice surf beaches..as far as SA goes.. i know there is awesome waves there and its suppose to be a great place to live. but i have only ever been there a few times.

Cross shore conditions aren't that prevalent in Adelaide, depends what you want.

Depends where you want to live too, Adelaide is fairly cheap compared to Sydney...

Cross shores, waves, plenty of wind, shame your boss can't send you to Vic, the most common cross thing in SA is cross dressers, aye Geoff

Hey old skool, local to Adelaide most of the wave riding is in cross on conditions. Mainly during winter a couple of the local spots fire with cross shore winds, but unfortunately it's not too consistant. If you are willing to travel a few hours there is some awesome places. But like most good waves in country locations, they are well kept secrets. If you end up in Sth Oz, send me a pm and try i'll and get you into some decent waves.

Cheers Croc

PS, please ignore the wannabe Vicco's

Old School,
hope you find some waves where ever you settle. Good winds.

62, it took awhile but you finally got him.
Where do you live in SA?
