Yeah Rick is a great local story. I met Rick back in the early nineties when he was just doing it firstly as a hobby. He was saying how he'd like to get into surf filming more as a carreer, although seemed very casual about it all. He was just getting his first "demo" together.
Reflecting on that chat I would notice his name coming up in credits from time to time in support for other big name cinematographers in some good surf films.
Looks like he has been doing well and is going out to do his own thing...good onya Rick!
