gday just bought a new bow kite to upgrade from a c , just wondering having trouble tuning the power lines , carnt seem to make them tension up enough too much slack on the lines and have dick all steering unless u physicaly grab the line to bring her back up

If you are referring to the 07 LF Havoc (i wouldnt call it a bow, its an SLE) then i found the same problem in too much wind. As soon as it starts blowing too much, the back lines go completely slack and steering is almost impossible unless like you said you physically grab the line and give it a yank. Dunno if there is a fix to this, i usually pack up and head in when it starts getting loose.

Sorry to have to tell you but I bought 12m 07 Havoc hybrid and found it unstable, too light on the bar, and hard to keep in the air in lighter winds. It would just plummet out of the sky without warning. I tried and tried to get use to it but couldn't - sold it in the end - best thing I did. Bought a Cabrinha Switchblade 3 instead and love it.

Take it back and pay a bit more for the 08 model - they are a lot better kite.

If you bought it from a shop, take it back and ask them to test it. Else bring it to us and we'll fine tune it for you Nath. We have plenty of 08 new & used kites if you wish to upgrade too.
