i dont want to start another thread on how good or bad they are because i think we have all seen too much of that already.
but i do want to know what happens if you are out the back and you snap a line or whatever the reason is how do you wrap your lines up safely so you can get to the kite and swim in?

no but how do u get to the kite since there is no leash which just pulls on one line

There is a leash connection on one line.You can choose to use it.
Pulling the centre lines depowers the kite,so I guess that would work.

That is an easy question for traditional kite, I hope it would still work on flat(xbow) style kite. Just pull in on one of your lines and start wraping it on to the bar. When you have brought in 2 or 3 meters then the kite will act as if you are on a leash. You can then just start wrapping all of the lines as you swim towards the kite. It will not relaunch because one line is tight while the others are not. I have unfortunately had to do this but it does work.

i know there is a reride set up on one of the front lines but does it actualy work? whos tried it? with the front line being attached to 1/2 of the leading edge by all the bridle lines does it depower and stay still enough for you wrap your lines up?? or does it flap around and not stay on the water?
